Guerrilla Collective kicked off its third digital presentation to showcase over 80+ of the hottest video games developed by indie developers from across the globe. We partnered on this project to handle the social and influencer campaign for Guerrilla Collective 3.0 and 3.5 showcases.
Our objective: Increase the number of wishlists for all video games featured in the showcase, help bridge the gap between creators and developers, and strengthen the company message and culture throughout their social platforms.
We implemented different social strategies that would:
Incorporate the use of paid, branded, and organic content across all platforms
Partner with game studios to join the fun on socials and watch the showcase on Twitch or YouTube
Partner with press, sponsors, and video game publishers to leverage their platforms
Encourage community building through a newly produced co-streaming program. This includes selecting participating streamers and content creators to live stream the showcase from their platforms.
Campaign Results:
Over 10+ gaming and tech news outlets covered the digital showcase such as IGN, GameSpot, PC Gamer, Screen Rant, Polygon, and GamesRadar.
Game developers have reported their video games have received over 3000% increase in wishlists, and 45% increase in social media following from participating in the showcase and the additional social push received.
Garnered positive feedback from annual sponsors regarding the overall social media engagement, encompassing sponsors such as PlayStation, Intel, Razer, and others.
1+ million live views across Twitch, YouTube, and other streaming platforms
Over 1+ impressions across social platforms
40% increase in Twitter follower count resulted in reaching over 10,000 followers
Client feedback on the comprehensive social and influencer marketing campaign was highly favorable, as it effectively boosted brand awareness and engaged with audiences that had not been reached in the previous year.
